![]() DAVID TROWBRIDGE | Brooklyn, NY www.qualityanimalart.com After graduating from the Hartford Art School in 1991, David spent years as an illustrator turning his attention and talent to fine art animal portraiture in 2001. Working in a style he calls "natural realism", David is able to convey not only light, form, and color in his pieces, but a sense of the animal's personality as well. Through these formal-style portraits one is able to get a real sense of intimacy with the subject. Recently David's work was featured in a group show at Gallery 225 in New York City and his portrait services have been included in "Fido Friendly" magazine's list of Top 100 Pet Products for 2009. David's artwork is available for commissions or the sale of original pieces, and he welcomes the opportunity to talk to other animal enthusiasts. |
